Scott E. Lee - President & CEO

Scott Lee is recognized as one of the premier experts in computer and Internet technologies, having been involved in these industries since their infancy. Mr. Lee is co-founder and former president of Lexis Epoch Enterprises, Inc., and its subsidiary companies, Learning Systems Technologies, Inc., providing personal computer manufacturing and service, and Cybrtyme, Inc., a full-service Internet Service Provider. Scott was a co-founder of the North American System Builders Association (NASBA), where he currently serves on the Board of Directors. He has a BA from the University of Alabama and an MBA from Duke University.

Steven E. Turner - Chief Operating Officer

Steve Turner has over 20 years of leadership experience in the telecommunications industry. Prior to joining IBEC, Mr. Turner was co-founder, president, and CEO of PowerComm Systems, Inc. a company focused on developing technology for the broadband-over-powerline (BPL) marketplace.  Previously, Steve was vice president & general manager and chief technical officer of Verilink Corporation (NASDAQ: VRLK). Mr. Turner was also formerly the vice president of Extended Range Products at ADTRAN, Inc. (NASDAQ: ADTN) and director of Research, Technology, & New Product Introduction at Motorola's (NYSE:MOT) Transmission Products Division.  He has a BSEE from Louisiana Tech University and an MSEE from the University of Missouri.

Brent R. Zitting - Vice President of Engineering

Brent Zitting has over 16 years experience bringing successful telecommunications products to market. Previously, Brent provided technical leadership to software and hardware engineers at Nokia Broadband Systems Division (NASDAQ: NOK). While at Discoverycom, Inc., a DSL provisioning equipment developer, Brent helped build a winning organization and product, and pioneered new techniques in provisioning DSL services. Nokia later acquired Discoverycom. Mr. Zitting has held various engineering positions at ADTRAN, Inc (NASDAQ:ADTN) and was key in developing industry leading T1 multiplexers and Integrated Access Devices. He has a BSEE from the University of Tennessee and an MSEE from Georgia Tech. He also holds two patents.

William D. Hudson - Vice President of Deployment

Bill Hudson is co-founder, vice president and inside legal counsel for IBEC. Mr. Hudson was a co-founder of NASBA.  A retired attorney, Bill specialized in corporate, contract, general business, and real estate law during his thirty-one years of active practice in the state of Alabama. He holds a law degree from the University of Alabama, where he became a member of the Order of the Coif and the Bench and Bar Legal Honor Societies. Bill has directed IBEC’s market Pilot deployments in Cullman AL and Nelson County, VA.

Gerald G. Pentecost, Jr., CPA – Vice President of Finance

Gerald Pentecost has been practicing as a CPA and advisor on tax and accounting matters for 15 years and has devoted a substantial amount of his practice to the technology industry. Prior to joining IBEC, Gerald worked as a CPA in public practice in Alabama and Georgia. In this capacity, he provided tax, audit, and accounting advisory services to clients in government and private industry. He has been involved in numerous business start-ups, mergers, and acquisitions. In addition, he has been involved in defining and implementing corporate accounting controls for many of his clients. Mr. Pentecost graduated with honors from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 1992 with a bachelors degree in accounting. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants and is licensed with the Alabama State Board of Public Accountancy.
